HiLyte Fluor 555 acid, SE has excitation and emission spectrum peak wavelengths of approximately 553 nm/ 568 nm, giving it an orange color. HiLyte Fluor 555 acid, SE is an excellent amine-reactive fluorescent labeling dye that generates the protein conjugates that are only slightly red-shifted compared to those of Cy 3 dyes, resulting in an optimal match to filters designed for Cy 3 dyes. The HiLyte Fluor 555-protein conjugates are very stable and suitable for immunofluorescent staining, in situ hybridization, flow cytometry and other biological applications. The kit has all essential components for performing the conjugation reaction and for purifying the HiLyte Fluor 555-protein conjugate.
