Z-D-cis-Hyp-OH

Z-D-cis-Hyp-OH is a protected, non-proteinogenic amino acid derivative corresponding to cis-4-hydroxy-L-proline in D stereochemical form, bearing the Z (benzyloxycarbonyl) protecting group on the amino functionality. The molecule features a carboxylic acid (-COOH) and a side-chain hydroxyl (-CH2-OH) characteristic of hydroxyproline, with the cis ring geometry of the proline scaffold influencing conformational preferences during peptide assembly.
