TFFH

TFFH is a fluorinated amino acid derivative bearing a trifluoromethyl-substituted side chain and an amino acid backbone that contains both amino and carboxyl functional groups. The presence of the electron-withdrawing fluorinated substituent imparts distinct polarity and carbon-fluorine bond character relative to non-fluorinated analogues, enabling the molecule to function as a chemically modified amino acid building block for labeling or structure-property studies.
