Terlipressin Acetate

Terlipressin acetate is a vasopressin analogue with potent vasoactive properties. Terlipressin acetate is a highly selective vasopressin V1 receptor agonist that reduces the splanchnic blood flow and portal pressure and controls acute variceal bleeding. Terlipressin acetate exerts anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects. Terlipressin acetate has the potential for hepatorenal syndrome and norepinephrine-resistant septic shock research.

Angiotensin II

Angiotensin II human (Angiotensin II) is a vasoconstrictor that mainly acts on the AT1 receptor. Angiotensin II human stimulates sympathetic nervous stimulation, increases aldosterone biosynthesis and renal actions. Angiotensin II human induces growth of vascular smooth muscle cells, increases collagen type I and III synthesis in fibroblasts, leading to thickening of the vascular wall and myocardium, and fibrosis. Aviptadil, also known as vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP), is a 28 amino acid neuropeptide that belongs to the glucagon-growth hormone-releasing factor secretion superfamily. Aviptadil acts as a potent systemic vasodilator and bronchodilator. It inhibits the proliferation of vascular and bronchial smooth muscle cells and decreases platelet aggregation. These biological effects are mediated by specific VIP receptors.

Teduglutide is a polypeptide consisting of 33 amino acids. It is glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) analogue that is used for the treatment of short bowel syndrome.
